Extrusion Runouter

In the extrusion department, where high-precision profiles with a great diversity in complexity, dimensions and numbers are produced, we are looking for an extrusion runouter!

The position

The extrusion runouter is the quality controller at the press. You are responsible for the quality of the profiles during the extrusion process, whereby quality, efficiency and creativity are first priority. Based on the technical requirements (e.g. diameter, tolerances, surface condition), you check the profile for the right quality and dimensions and determine the corrective measures in close consultation with the press operator. Then, with the help of the stretch-leveler, you can influence the final dimensions. When the desired quality cannot be achieved, you are the one who makes the decision to interrupt the extrusion process.

The right candidate

We are looking for someone with knowledge of technology, preferably in measuring with various measuring tools. You are the right candidate if you meet the following profile:

  • You have a hands-on mentality
  • You are stress resistant
  • You can take decisions independently
  • You are prepared to be trained internally in technical and measuring matters (height meter, profile projector) This training will take several years.

If your suitability is confirmed, you can then start work as a Junior Extrusion Runouter and continue to grow through the knowledge and experience you have gained. Here, it is important to find the right balance between production and quality. In the Extrusion department you will work in two shifts.

Mifa offers

  • A pleasant working environment in an open and informal company culture with short lines of communication.
  • A varied, responsible job with growth opportunities.
  • An attractive salary in line with the position and excellent fringe benefits.
