The role

As Commercial Manager at Mifa Aluminum, you bear the responsibility for the company’s commercial success. In this role, you are involved in setting up innovative processes and listening to market feedback so that you can continue to position Mifa as a market leader.

You report directly to the Managing Director. Together with the management team, you develop the strategy that determines Mifa’s direction, mission, and vision. You work closely with the team to achieve business objectives and strengthen Mifa’s position in the market.

In this crucial role, you demonstrate how to maintain relationships in an innovative and effective manner, thereby securing customer loyalty to Mifa. You act as a coach and inspirer for the sales team, empowering everyone to bring out their best.


Tasks and responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing a sales and marketing strategy, including translating it into objectives.
  • Implementing a new business and up- and cross-sell strategy.
  • Leading, motivating, and inspiring teams, “leading by example”.
  • Continuously improving and institutionalizing various internal processes.
  • Conducting performance and development conversations.

What we expect from you

As a Commercial Manager, you are a visionary who takes ownership. You’re not afraid to show yourself and, as mentioned, you set an example for the sales and marketing teams. You enjoy getting your hands dirty and have an infectious winning mentality.

Ideally, you have:

  • A completed, relevant HBO/WO education.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar commercial B2B management role, with demonstrable experience in managing commercial and creative teams.
  • Experience within or strong affinity with a technical (production) environment.
  • A track record in developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills (a true networker).
  • Excellent command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of the German language is a plus.
