The Key Account Manager is primarily responsible for maintaining high-profile key accounts and driving acquisition to foster turnover growth within the aerospace and defence markets. This role involves actively seeking new clients and market opportunities, as well as strengthening existing relationships in Germany, Austria, Italy and Switzerland. By combining strategic acquisition efforts with effective relationship management, the Key Account Manager contributes to increasing revenue and enhancing Mifa’s market position. In this role you will report to the Segment Leader Aerospace who is leading the Aerospace Sales Team.
What we expect from you
We are looking for a dynamic individual who possesses a visionary mindset and strategic thinking skills, with experience in managing Key Accounts. Furthermore, we are looking for a sales professional with relevant experience in a technical company that specialises in high-end, non-standard products. While experience in extrusion is not a prerequisite, familiarity with advanced technical environments will be advantageous.
You also have:
- A bachelor degree in engineering or business;
- Proven business-to-business development and/or successful sales experience;
- Excellent German and English language skills;
- Willingness to travel frequently (30%);
- Independence, strong commercial skills and the capability to think beyond coventional boundaries are requierd.
